Our school has been a member of the Tandem International Network of Quality Language Schools since 1986.
We are a friendly school in the centre of the city, located just 5 minutes walking distance from the famous Ramblas. OUR METHOD
All our Spanish teachers have a University degree, a recognised teaching certificate and wide teaching experience. We guarantee a quick and effective learning of the Spanish language.
Our
classes are based on a communicative approach. Students enjoy
studying in a friendly atmosphere where they develop speaking
and listening skills related to daily situations; however,
grammar and writing exercises are not ignored.
Our teachers use a wide variety of dynamic and motivational
activities, and in class, both the
students and the teacher
speak only Spanish.
OUR COURSES
Our
classes are offered throughout the year, and are taught in
6 levels from from beginning to advanced Timetable: 9.00/10.30 + 10.45/12.15 (Standard courses) and from 9.00/10.30 + 10.45/12.15 + 12.30/13.15 (Intensive courses). Lessons are taught in 90 min. sessions. The courses
last from 2 weeks onwards. Class sizes are small, giving each
student the opportunity to participate fully in class activities.
Our small classes also allow teachers to interact individually
with students and to ensure no question
is left unanswered.
CULTURAL
PROGRAMME
Tandem Barcelona organizes a varierty of cultural activities, Gothic Tour, Modernism Tour, Gaudi Tour. These activities have an extra cost. The school also organizes once a week a free cultural activity for all the students accompanied by a teacher. Our intention is to generate a friendly atmosphere amongst the international students themselves and between the students and teachers. Students pay for their transportation to the activities and also for any movie or museum tickets.
